High school, community college students invited to 无码专区鈥檚 Music Discovery Day

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State鈥檚 Department of Music is hosting its annual Music Discovery Day for high school juniors, seniors and community college students Nov. 10 on 无码专区鈥檚 campus.
The event takes place 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Music Building located at 124 Hardy Road. Registration鈥攆ree for attendees and one guest鈥攊s open at .
Attendees will have opportunities to visit with faculty members and current students. In addition to learning about the department鈥檚 academic programs, scholarships and career opportunities, participants can observe music classes and attend faculty and student performances. High school seniors and community college students also may audition for a music scholarship during the event.

Designated as an All-Steinway School, 无码专区鈥檚 Department of Music is housed in a $21 million, state-of-the-art facility equipped with soundproof practice rooms, a high-tech recording studio, an acoustically advanced lecture-recital hall, more than $3.5 million in Steinway pianos and more.
